After more than two decades in business, Bundaberg’s Bella Donna The Hair Collective has unveiled a transformative new look. The space blends calming interiors, feminine detailing, and thoughtfully chosen furniture in a fresh sage green palette. With a loyal team of stylists and a reputation for professionalism and personal care, the salon’s second major renovation brings together beauty, function, and comfort through every design choice.
Modern, calming and thoughtfully designed
Described by owner Kala and her team as “modern, calming, feminine and thoughtfully designed,” the space centres around soft tones, curved joinery, and a cohesive furniture palette. A muted green feature throughout – from cabinetry to seating – creating a sense of flow and tranquillity. Comfortel furniture plays a defining role in bringing the vision to life.
Furniture that leaves a lasting impression
“We especially love our basins,” says Kala. “They’re definitely a wow factor. Clients are always blown away by how comfortable they are – they don’t put pressure on the neck, and the massage and recline functions are a dream.”
The salon selected Cleo Electric Wash Lounges in Sage, chosen for their visual impact and ergonomic comfort. Alongside them, Meadow Styling Chairs and Comfortel’s Comet Footrests in Black help create a practical and cohesive working environment that still feels elevated.
Showroom Visits at Comfortel
Bella Donna has partnered with Comfortel since 2008. When it came time to renovate, most of the team travelled to Comfortel’s showroom to get hands-on with the new furniture. “The Comfortel Team was a dream to work with,” says Kala. “They were so knowledgeable and made the whole experience enjoyable. Even when we had a few hiccups with delivery, the team went above and beyond to sort it all out.”
